Fire in Delhi Gaushala, a dozen animals burnt alive
In another tragic fire incident, over a dozen cows were burnt alive when a gaushala caught fire on the outskirts of Delhi on Saturday, officials said. According to the information, a fire broke out in Savda area at 1.15 pm and on receiving information, ten fire tenders were sent to extinguish the fire. It took firefighters four hours to douse the fire and it was found that over a dozen cows were burnt alive and the shelter home was damaged. The fire brigade said, “The burnt carcasses of the cows are being taken out from the gaushala. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.”
An FIR has been lodged in the local police station.
