Faridabad: Action taken on 122 people who gave false complaints in six months

In the case of misleading the police by giving false complaints and wasting the valuable time of the police and the court, action has been taken against 122 accused by the Faridabad Police in the last 6 months. DCP Crime Mukesh Kumar said on Friday that according to the latest data, in the year 2022, 122 cases have been registered against those who give false complaints in the 6 months from February to July, in which 15 of February, 25 of March, 19 of April, May 25 of June, 21 of June and 17 of July are included.

The team of Crime Branch 65 in-charge Brahm Prakash has also exposed a similar false case in which the name of the accused is Naveen, who has a company named MP Auto Mobile in Greater Noida, which is owned by Nisha Casting from Faridabad, Jaipal, his company’s auto parts. buys goods. On June 11, Naveen came to the police station Sadar Ballabhgarh and complained that Jaipal and his accomplice Neetu had snatched his car by putting their car in front of his car near village Dayalpur and kidnapped him and looted 10 lakh rupees. The crime branch team interrogated the complainant Naveen thoroughly, in which it came to light that the complaint given by Naveen is false. Naveen told that he was going from Faridabad to Jaipal’s company with some goods, but later he asked to pay the money, but Jaipal did not listen to him and got the goods back. To avenge this, Naveen had given a false complaint against Jaipal and his companions.

Naveen told that his 10 lakh rupees are safe in his house in Noida. After this, on the behest of the accused, Rs 10 lakh was recovered from his house in Noida. The allegations made by Naveen in this case were found to be false. Seeing a false complaint against Naveen, a case was registered against Naveen under section 182 of the Indian Penal Code for misleading the police and wasting the time of the police and the court. Police Commissioner Vikas Arora has warned in strong words that no person should do such an act for his own benefit, otherwise legal action will be taken.
