Eligible beneficiaries get the benefit of welfare schemes: Shivraj
Bhopal, 21st September (H.S.). Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the government is for the service of the people. The eligible beneficiaries should get the benefit of the welfare schemes of the government and there should be prosperity and happiness in their lives. Efforts should be made to improve the lives of the poor, to benefit everyone from the schemes.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the progress of welfare schemes at Mukhyamantri Jan Seva Abhiyan camp at village panchayat Kotma in Sohagpur block of Shahdol district on Wednesday. He said that we have decided that the eligible beneficiaries of the welfare schemes of the government will not make rounds of government offices, but the people of the government-administration should go to the villages and establish contact with the beneficiaries and provide them the benefits of welfare schemes.
The Chief Minister reviewed the Prime Minister’s Samman Nidhi, Chief Minister’s Farmer Welfare, Chief Minister’s Girl Marriage, Ladli Laxmi, Ayushman Card, Prime Minister’s Mother Vandana, Ujjwala Yojana, Kisan Credit Card, Food Grant, Fisherman’s Credit Card, Atal Pension Yojana etc. in front of the villagers. He said that the list of the beneficiaries who did not get the benefit of these schemes should be prepared immediately and ensure that the benefits of all the schemes are given to the eligible beneficiaries before October 31.
In the camp, the Chief Minister expressed displeasure over the non-receipt of funds to some farmers under the farmers’ welfare scheme. He directed the officers to ensure that the farmers who have not got the benefit of Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, should be benefited. He said that the ration distribution system should be made more effective and transparent. The benefit of ration distribution scheme should be given to all the eligible poor families. MLA Jaisingh Maravi also addressed the occasion.
Chief Minister Chouhan distributed benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes. On this occasion, the district in-charge minister Ramkhelawan Patel, MP Himadri Singh, President of Women Finance Development Corporation Amita Chapra, District Panchayat President Prabha Mishra, MLA Manisha Singh and Sharad Kol were present along with villagers.
