Bikaner, May 11 (H.S.). Education Minister Dr. B. D. Kalla on Wednesday provided scooties to 44 girl students under Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award Scheme and 49 girl students under Kali Bai Bhil Meritorious Girl Scooty Scheme.

During the program organized in the District Industry Association auditorium located in Rani Bazar Industrial Area, Education Minister Dr. Kalla said that today daughters are showing their talent in every field. Girls have achieved golden success in education also. These daughters should move forward and other girls should take inspiration from them, for this purpose, the state government is encouraging them by providing them scooties. He said that the girl students who got scooty should take inspiration from the life of Indira Gandhi and Kali Bai Bhil and move towards success in life. He said that life without education is dark. In view of this, parents should give maximum opportunities to their children for education. He told the students about the importance of time management and balanced diet. Also learned to stay away from mobile.

Additional District Collector (city) Pankaj Sharma said that education is the basis of development. The state government is committed to the upgradation of education in the state. He told about the ‘Come Ahead Read’ campaign being started on the initiative of the District Collector. Sub-divisional officer Ashok Kumar Bishnoi said that the purpose of such schemes is to motivate the girl child to move forward. District Education Officer Surendra Singh Bhati told that during the program, Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini was given to twenty-two girl students for the session 2019-20 and 2020-21 and scooty to 49 girl students for the year 2018-19. He told about the efforts made for the educational development in the district. District Industries Association President Dwarka Prasad Pachisia said that many Bhamashahs contribute for the educational up-gradation of the district. He described the expansion of air services as necessary for the industrial development of the district and assured the Bhamshahs to construct a building in a year if the college at Napasar is approved.
