Big news: Punjab government has abolished such posts of Patwaris from the state, notification issued
Chandigarh : In view of the important decision of restructuring the posts of Patwaris in the state, the Punjab Government has issued a new notification. Under this notification 1056 posts have been abolished from across Punjab.
Explain that through this notification 3660 posts will be filled. Earlier there were 4716 posts of Patwaris all over Punjab.
According to this notification issued by the revenue department of the government, 345 for Ludhiana, 178 for Tarn Taran, 261 for Gurdaspur, 201 for Patiala, 311 for Jalandhar, 338 for Hoshiarpur, 24 for Amritsar, 77 for Pathankot, 92 for Fatehgarh Sahib, 95 for Muktsar, 72 for Faridkot, 147 for Kapurthala, 92 for Barnala, 147 for Moga, 121 for Fazilka, 99 for Mansa, 137 for Nawanshahr, 118 for Firozpur , Ropar, 133 for Bathinda, 168 for Sangrur and 51 for Malerkotla.
According to the information, the government is also considering the process of demarcation of the new boundaries of Patwar Khans.
