Bangladeshi national caught by BSF, miscellaneous material seized

A Bangladeshi national has been apprehended by the personnel of 137 Bahini Border Security Force (BSF) Border Out Post Chakgopal under Raiganj sector of North Bengal Frontier posted on the Indo-Bangladesh border of the district. The name of the arrested Bangladeshi national is Ratan Biswas. He is a resident of Narayanganj district of Bangladesh. This information was given by BSF by issuing a press release on Tuesday. According to BSF, Ratan Biswas was caught when he was trying to cross the international border. At present, the Bangladeshi citizen has been handed over to Hili police station for further action.
In addition to the above, on the intervening night of 20/21 June, the personnel of the Corps under the North Bengal Frontier BSF, carrying out an anti-smuggling operation in their respective border areas, seized 13 cattle, 279 bottles of banned cough syrup, 14 kg of ganja including prohibited miscellaneous materials. has been done.
