PM Modi said, ‘One day I met a senior leader of the opposition. He regularly opposes me politically, but I have great respect for him. He was not happy on some issues, so came to meet me. He said that the country has made you Prime Minister twice, so what more do you need? He believed that if a person becomes PM twice, he has achieved everything.

‘Modi made from different soil’

PM Modi further said that his dream is to be fulfilled and people get 100% benefit from various welfare schemes. He added, “They don’t know that Modi is made of different soil. The land of Gujarat has made them. That’s why I don’t believe in taking it, because whatever happened is over and I should rest now. No, my dream came true, there is 100% coverage of welfare schemes.

The remarks come a month after Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar met the Prime Minister in Delhi and raised the issue of action by central agencies against family members of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar.

‘I was sent from Gujarat to Delhi to serve the country’

PM Narendra Modi, who was the chief minister of Gujarat before coming to Delhi, also completed eight years of the BJP-led government at the Center later this month.
