DA will be increased by this much percent

The Modi government can increase the DA of central employees and pensioners by about 4 percent, due to which a substantial increase in the salary of the employees is believed to be possible. The DA of the employees will go up to 42 per cent after the increase of 4 per cent, while at present the benefit of 38 per cent DA is being received.

Actually, the central government increases DA twice a year, whose rates are considered applicable from January and July. Apart from this, the government can make a strong announcement in DA arrears. Not only this, it is even discussed that the government may increase the fitment factor as well, due to which a record increase in basic salary will be registered.

Government employees will get DA arrear money

The central government can soon put the money of DA arrears in the account of government employees, which is being discussed rapidly at the departmental level. The government did not give the money of DA arrears from the year 2020 to June 2021 during the Corona virus infection period.

Since the same time, the organizations of central employees have been continuously demanding, regarding which the official announcement has not yet been made by the government, but it is discussed that this amount can be transferred to the account.

In such a situation, the arrears of Level-1 employees range from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. An employee at Level-13 (7th CPC Basic Pay-scale Rs.1,23,100 to Rs.2,15,900 arrears) and Level-14 (pay-scale) will get Rs.1,44,200 to Rs.2,18,200 in hand. This will provide strong assistance to the employees, which is not less than a huge amount.

Know how the calculation will be done

According to the government data, if the minimum salary according to the pay matrix of central employees is Rs 18000. The employee can get a benefit of Rs 11,880 as DA Arrear. (Rs 4320+3240+4320), in the cabinet meeting held on 28 September in the year 2022, a decision has been taken to increase DA by 4 per cent to 38 per cent. It has been implemented from 1 July 2022.
