Starter Recipe – How To Make Makka Papdi Chaat And Sabudana Fruit Bowl
Material
1 cup corn flour
1/4 cup flour
1 tbsp oil
1/2 cup curd
1 tbsp green chutney
1 tbsp dry ginger
1 boiled potato
1 onion finely chopped
1 tomato finely chopped
1 green chili finely chopped
1 tsp coriander leaves chopped
Chili powder
oil for frying
Salt according to taste.
Method
After sifting maize flour and white flour, add salt and oil to it and knead it. Roll it thinly and cut into triangular shapes. Fry in hot oil till golden. Take it out in a plate and put chopped onions, tomatoes and potatoes on top. Serve by adding curd, chutney, dry ginger, green coriander, green chili and salt on top.
Sago Fruit Bowl
Material
1/2 cup sago
1/2 cup coconut milk
3 tbsp condensed milk
few pieces of cashew nuts
Some cut fruits are apple, pomegranate, orange, pineapple.
Method
Soak sago in water and boil it. Put it in a strainer and wash it with cold water. Heat condensed milk and coconut milk in a pan. Then put sago in it and stir it for 1-2 minutes. Then serve after adding chopped nuts and cashews.
Veg Poha Bowls
Material
1 cup poha
1 tbsp red, yellow and green chillies finely chopped
1 small onion finely chopped
2 small carrots grated
2 tbsp grated raw coconut
green chili finely chopped
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp thick curd
1/2 tsp mustard
Curry leaf
chopped green chilies
Salt according to taste.
Method
Wash the poha with water and keep it in a sieve so that the water drains out. Then add all capsicum, onion, green chilli, raw coconut, carrot, curd and salt to it. Mix it well and make small balls out of it. Then steam in a steamer for 10-12 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. After roasting, add curry leaves and green chillies to it, add poha balls and mix well and then decorate in a plate and serve with chutney.
