As soon as the oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds, dry red chillies, asafoetida and curry leaves and fry for some time. Now add prepared masala paste and fry for a minute. After this, add finely chopped tomatoes, turmeric, chillies and salt as per taste to the pan. Now fry this mixture till the tomatoes become soft.
