Many times you get bored of eating bhindi, gourd and cabbage everyday and do not understand what to make which takes less time and tastes equally good, then try Aloo Kurma.
Material : for the curd mixture
8 medium sized potatoes 10 grams ginger paste, 20 grams garlic paste, 3 grams red chili powder, 6 grams coriander powder, 125 grams curd Cooking Ingredients 90 grams desi ghee, 4 green cardamom, roasted cashews, salt, 1 tsp green cardamom powder, 1.5 g black pepper powder, 1 pinch nutmeg powder, 1 tsp lemon juice, 3 tbsp dairy cream, coriander leaves
Method :
Wash, peel and cut the potatoes in half.
Heat oil in a pan.
Fry the potatoes till they turn golden brown.
Mix all the spices and keep aside.
Put desi ghee in a pan and keep it on medium flame.
Add green cardamom to it and stir continuously so that its water dries up and the oil separates.
Add curd mixture to it. Fry it while stirring till the oil separates.
Add cashew paste to it and fry while stirring continuously. Now put potatoes in it. Simultaneously add salt, a cup of water, cardamom, black pepper and nutmeg powder, cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
Add lemon juice to it and cook for a minute more.
Put cream in it and take it off the flame. Serve garnished with green coriander.
