religious point of view

According to the Sanatan Dharma Shastras, there are two ayans in a year, which are Uttarayan and Dakshinayana respectively. The Sun sets from January 14 to June 20. At the same time, from June 20, the sun moves towards the south. It is believed that when the Sun is in the south, the days become shorter. At the same time, by doing worship, chanting, penance and yoga these days, sufferings and sorrows are removed. For this, yoga is celebrated on the occasion of Sun becoming dextrose.

When did yoga start?

According to Sanatan Dharma, Lord Shiva is the greatest Yogi. He is considered a yoga guru. After this the Vedic sages started doing yoga. In the Duapar Yuga, Lord Krishna expanded yoga. At the same time, Gautam Buddha and Mahavir also adopted yoga. In modern times, Sage Patanjali has given a systematic form to Yoga. At the same time, there is clear evidence of yoga in the time of Indus civilization. This shows that people adopted yoga even in the Indus Valley Civilization after the Duapar era.

how to reach other countries

In modern times, Swami Vivekananda introduced yoga and the benefits of yoga to the world at a religious conference held in Chicago, USA in 1893. Later many other religious gurus including Paramhansa Yogananda Maharaj introduced yoga to the world.
