Eggplant Porridge


– 6 green chilies chopped

-4 tbsp oil

-1 pinch asafoetida

-8 green onions, chopped

– 2 medium sized tomatoes

-1 kg brinjal

-1/2 tsp turmeric

-12 green garlic cloves chopped

-1 tsp cumin

– salt to taste


First of all wash the brinjals thoroughly. Now apply oil or ghee on it. Cut the brinjal into small pieces with the help of a chopper. Now turn it over and fry it on the gas till its peel gets burnt. Let it cool in water and then peel it. take care of it. heat the oil. Roast cumin in it. Now add chopped garlic, onion and green chillies. Run for two minutes. Then add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, asafoetida, salt and brinjal pulp. Now mix it for some time and let it rise. Now sprinkle coriander over it. It will be very tasty. Turn off the gas when the oil is released. Then serve hot with bajra roti. Along with this, you can also take onion, a glass of buttermilk in your food.
