  • After cutting the apple, apply a little lemon juice on the cut part so that it does not turn brown. This will make the apple last longer and look fresher.
  • To keep fruits and vegetables fresh for longer, wrap them in newspaper before storing them in the fridge.
  • Do not keep the cut apple for a long time, eat it as soon as possible.
  • After cutting the apple, keep it in a container, not in the open.

Also some vegetables start turning black after cutting, some special tips for that

  • Vegetables should be washed before peeling or cutting. Do not wash vegetables after cutting them.
  • After cutting potatoes and brinjals, keep them soaked in water. So that their color is not spoiled. Or they won’t be black.
  • After boiling vegetables in water, do not throw away the water, use it to make vegetable gravy.
