In such a situation, researchers found that people who do not get enough sleep at night and snore during the day have an 11% increased risk of glaucoma. Sleeping during the day can spoil the eyesight. Researchers say that by 2040, 112 million people worldwide may be victims of glaucoma.

According to experts, people with sleep apnea may be 10 times more likely to develop glaucoma.
