Coffee increases the risk of cholesterol
People who drink three to five cups of coffee a day have higher blood cholesterol levels than non-coffee drinkers. The study found that men who drank coffee three to five times as much had cholesterol than women.
More than six cups of coffee is dangerous for women
Drinking more black coffee can increase cholesterol in men. But the proportion is less among women. Meanwhile, research has shown that if women consume black coffee six times a day, they may also be at risk of high cholesterol.
