• 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 2 green chilies finely chopped

  • 2 medium sized potatoes

  • half breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp dried mango powder
  • salt to taste

This is how to make Tikki

To make beetroot tikki, first of all take 2 potatoes and 2 beetroot. Then peel both of them well and take 3 teaspoons in the cooker. After this, mash the beetroot and potato in a bowl. Now add onion, chili, dried mango powder, turmeric, coriander, salt and bread crumbs to it. Now mix all these things well and make a paste of it. Now grease your hands with oil and make tikkis. After this, take flour in a plate. Now prepare the batter by adding water as required. Now dip this tikki in the menda mixture. Now coat it with bread crumbs. Now take a pan and heat oil in it. When the oil is well heated, fry all the tikkis in it on low flame till they become golden. Now your tikki is ready. You can eat it with chutney.
