Actor Matt Smith, who plays Prince Damon Targaryen in ‘House of the Dragon’, has questioned the sex scenes in ‘Game of Thrones’. The actor has said that he has questioned the number of sex scenes for the prequel series of ‘Game of Thrones’ while working on the spin-off. He has also said that the story is based on the book but something different is shown in it.

Why is the story being broken?
Talking about what fans can expect from the show, the 39-year-old actor said in an interview, ‘When you ask yourself, ‘Do we need another sex scene?’ And they say, ‘Yes, we can do one more.’ He said, ‘I guess you have to ask yourself ‘What are you doing? Are you representing the books that have this story or are you showing the times we are living in?
What did the actor say on his sex scene?
On reducing the content for TV, the actor said, ‘I really think it’s your job to present the books as truthfully and honestly as it was written in them.’ When asked by the outlet whether his character would have sex scenes in the 10-episode series, Smith replied, “Yeah – a little bit, if you ask me.”
‘Game of Thrones’ prequel
‘House of the Dragon’ Targaryen is a film based on the dynasty. Along with this, it is also based on parts of George RR Martin’s book ‘Fire and Blood’. The show is set centuries before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’, based on Daenerys Targaryen’s ancestors.
