1. Raha Kapoor The baby girl of Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt was named by their ‘dadi’ (grandmother). Taking to her Instagram, new mom Alia Bhatt shared the meaning of the name ‘Raaha’ in different languages. Alia wrote, ‘In Swahili she is Joy, in Sanskrit Raha is a clan, in Bengali comfort, comfort, relief, peace in Arabic’. He said, ‘It also means happiness, freedom and joy.’
2. Adia Piramal Daughter of billionaire couple Anand Piramal and Isha Ambani, little Adia was born on November 19 along with her twin brother ‘Krishna’. His name means ‘beginning’ or ‘first power’. It is also one of the names of Lord Shiva.
3. Vayu Kapoor Ahuja Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor and businessman Anand Ahuja were blessed with a baby boy in August this year, and they announced his name ‘Vayu’ in September. In Sanskrit ‘Vayu’ means ‘air’. The name is also related to ‘Lord of the Winds’ and ‘God of Breath’ in Hindu mythology.
4. Devi Basu Singh Grover Television actor Karan Singh Grover and Bollywood icon Bipasha Basu took to Instagram to share the good news of the birth of their baby girl. The post read, “The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Maa is now here and she is divine.” No wonder then, that they named their little girl ‘Devi’. The word means ‘divine woman’ or ‘goddess’ in Sanskrit.
5. Liana Television’s ‘Ram Aur Sita’ Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Banerjee welcomed their second child on November 11. They haven’t named their newborn yet.
