Farhan Akhtar, son of Bollywood’s famous writer and poet Javed Akhtar, was born on 9 January 1974 in Mumbai. Then Mr. Schooling Cooper School and then Mumbai’s H.R. Graduated from college.

Farhan Akhtar started his career slowly by working as an assistant director in the film ‘Lamhe’ in 1991 and as a director in the film ‘Himalaya Putra’ in 1997.

The direction of the film ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ gave Farhan a different identity and it was the turning point of his career. This film also received the National Award. After this, Farhan made a remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Don’ in 1986 and that film was also a hit.

Farhan made his acting debut in 2008 with the film ‘Rock On’. Farhan also won the National Award for the film ‘Rock On’.
