Shooting of the film ‘The Lady Killer’ is going to start in Nainital
Nainital, May 13 (H.S.). The film ‘The Lady Killer’ is going to be shot after two days in the Sarovarnagari Nainital, which was in the eyes of Bollywood with the film Madhumati in 1958. With this film, actor Arjun Kapoor is coming for the third time in Nainital for the shooting of the film. Earlier he had come here for the films Aurangzeb and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. Most of the shooting of Aurangzeb, the second film of Arjun’s career, was done in Ayarpata area of the city while Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’s in Pithoragarh. Some of its scenes were also filmed at Haldwani bus stand.
Now he is coming here to shoot for the film ‘The Lady Killer’, in which he is in the lead role along with actress Bhumi Pednekar for the first time. The shooting of the film was earlier to be done in the month of March and then from May 4, but now it is expected to start from May 15. The shooting is likely to last for one to one and a half months. According to the local people involved in the production of the film, 15 to 20 local actors from Nainital and Haldwani will be seen in secondary roles in the film while many other people will also be seen in the form of mob.
Santokh Bisht, who is associated with the production of the film, said that most of the shooting of the film was done at Zoom Land in the city, Balrampur Hotel, CRST, Belvedere Hotel, Library and Grand Hotel located on Mall Road, Amle Cottage in Ayarpata, Dalhousie House and The Fern House and Snow View etc. going to be in places. The shoot production for Zoom Land, which is supposed to show actor Arjun Kapoor running a chemist’s shop, has begun while the entire unit of the film is expected to reach here in a day or two.
It is noteworthy that the shooting of the film is going on in Manali in Himachal Pradesh and Keylong in Lahaul-Spiti since April 19. Interestingly, the film is based on Nainital, so on April 27, Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation’s bus was shot in Himachal Pradesh by making a bus of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation’s Nainital depot. Directed by film director Ajay Behl, the film is being produced by his brother Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Shailesh R Singh in association with Karma Media and Entertainment in association with the late Gulshan Kumar’s T-Series company.
