Renowned comedian and president of Uttar Pradesh Film Development Council, Raju Srivastava, died on Wednesday at the age of 58 at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. His fans are deeply shocked by Raju’s passing away so soon.

Talking about the comedy of Raju Srivastava, he entertained people a lot with every character. Not only did he earn a name from Gajodhar Bhaiyya, he also became the uncrowned king of comedy by mimicking many big film and political figures. The special thing was that the person whom he used to mimic, that celebrity himself was also laughing while sitting in his show.

Raju Srivastava did a lot of mimicry of Lalu Prasad Yadav, former Chief Minister of Bihar. Lalu Yadav himself, who was present in his show, thoroughly enjoyed it and was seen laughing. He then described Lalu as Superman. He also showed a funny comedy in front of Lalu regarding the dialogue with the former President of America.

Raju Srivastava has also done a lot of mimicry of the century’s megastar Big B i.e. Amitabh Bachchan. Copying Amitabh Bachchan’s signature step, when Raju used to mimic him, Amitabh Bachchan was seen in style only. Big B is also a big fan of the comedian. For Raju’s better health, he also sent an audio message in his voice to Raju.

Apart from these two, Raju also made the audience laugh by doing a vigorous mimicry of late actor Sanjeev Kumar, Jeevan, former Prime Minister of the country Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Shatrughan Sinha during stand-up comedy. It was Raju’s unique style that it became difficult to differentiate between real and fake (mimicry).

He has been active in the entertainment world since the 1980s. She gained immense popularity after participating in the first season of the stand-up comedy show ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ in 2005. He has also acted in films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Baazigar’, ‘Bombay to Goa’ (remake) and ‘Aamdani Athani Kharsha Rupaiya’.

He was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi on August 10 after he suffered chest pain and collapsed during a gym workout. Since then the whole country was praying for his recovery. After a long battle with life for 40 days, he said goodbye to this world on Wednesday.
