Thane: Marathi actress Ketki Chitale has been detained by Thane Police. The actress has been detained by the police for writing an objectionable post on NCP Chief Sharad Pawar. Three cases have been registered against the actress after she wrote a post on the NCP chief.

Thane Police has taken action to investigate these allegations. Ketki Chitale has been brought to Kalamboli police station in Thane. When Sharad Pawar was questioned in his press conference regarding this action, Sharad Pawar said that he does not know Ketki Chitale. Why he was taken into custody, he does not even know. Sharad Pawar said that where does it come to read the posts of those whom he does not recognize.

Why action on Ketki: Ketki had written an objectionable Facebook post against the NCP chief. After this, cases were registered against him in Kalwa in Thane, Goregaon in Mumbai and Pune. Police complaints were also made against him in many areas of the state. The demand for strict action on Ketki was coming from the NCP leaders continuously. In view of these demands, Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse Patil had also indicated to take action. After this, now Thane police took action against actress Ketki Chitale.
