New Delhi: To improve the quality of banking services, Union Minister of State for Finance Bhagwat Karar advised banks to treat customers like God and continuously improve their services.

In a customer meet program organized by Bank of Maharashtra, Karah said that the focus of banks should be on improving the services provided to the customers and removing the loopholes in the system.

Customers should also repay the loan on time

Apart from this, during the program, the Union Minister said that strengthening the banking system of the country is also a big responsibility of the customers. All the people should repay the loan taken on time with full responsibility.

He also said that the banking industry should support farmers, youth and women entrepreneurs so that they can play an important role in the development of the country.

emphasis on digitization

During the program, Managing Director of Bank of Maharashtra A.S. Rajeev said that the bank in its continuous efforts is focusing on creating an ecosystem with emphasis on digitization, which can change as per the economy, technology and customer needs.

He further said that the bank has made several changes with time keeping in mind the digitization and customer oriented products and services are being launched. The bank is expanding its branch network across the country. It also said that Bank of Maharashtra has secured top rank in 20-22 out of 25 key parameters.
