Aadhaar card is an important document in India, and the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) provides both online and offline facilities to update it. While some features can be updated online through mobile, others require a visit to a CSC centre.

Online updates are available for a range of demographic information including name, date of birth, address and gender. Additionally, UIDAI provides the facility to change mobile number through the India Post website. However, biometric data, mobile number and email ID require an offline visit to an Aadhaar service centre.

To update biometric data, mobile number and email ID, applicants need to visit an Aadhaar Seva Kendra, which can be found by booking an appointment through the UIDAI website. Documents are required for Demographic data, No document is required for Biometric data, Mobile number and Email ID.

There is a fee for updating certain things, which ranges from Rs 30 to Rs 100 for changes in Aadhaar card like mobile number, biometric data and photo.
