YouTube is testing a new mobile app feature with its premium subscribers that allows them to zoom in on any video. A media report has revealed that the latest opt-in enables pinch-to-zoom gestures for experimental videos. Let us tell you that this feature works in both portrait and full-screen landscape view.

According to the company, the Zoom feature will be in testing until September 1, giving YouTube about a month to take user feedback and test things out.

To enable Pinch to Zoom, open YouTube’s Settings menu on your phone or from the website. As long as you have a YouTube Premium subscription, you’ll find a “Try two features” section. Where now you will only see the zoom function.
