Mumbai: IT giant Wipro has sacked 300 employees for Chandni i.e. working for rival companies. This information has been given by Rishad Premji, Chairman, Wipro.

Premji said during an event, “In the last few months, we have identified 300 people who were serving in another company at the same time. These people have been sacked.” (300 employees who were cheating Wipro company fired)

This is the first time that an IT company has taken massive action against an employee for Chandni. Earlier, Wipro Chairman Rishad Premji had termed the employees’ moonlight as a fraud of the company.

 

According to media reports, Wipro had warned of moonlight a few days ago. An e-mail sent by the company to employees states that dual-location work or ‘moonlight’ is not allowed. Any breach of contract will be subject to disciplinary action and may result in termination of your employment.
