Whatsapp Chat Filter feature: WhatsApp is working on chat filter, now the feature will also be available in personal account
WhatsApp is constantly looking for new ways to enhance its user experience. Now the messaging app is working on chat filters that will help users find chats in a simpler and faster way. The Chat Filter feature is already available for business accounts, but WhatsApp is now planning to introduce it for non-business accounts as well. Note that WhatsApp recently rolled out some interesting updates, including the ability to transfer files up to 2GB, with features like emoji reaction.
According to Wabetainfo, WhatsApp has rolled out advanced search filters for business accounts for Android, iOS and desktop. Simple chat filters were used to find chats quickly. However, the report claims that WhatsApp will make this feature available to all users in a future update. WhatsApp makes it easy to find unread chats, contacts, non-contacts and groups. Standard WhatsApp accounts will also be able to use the same feature in future updates to the app. Plus the Filter button will always be visible, even if you’re not looking for Chats and Messages.
The chat filter feature has appeared in WhatsApp beta for desktop. In future updates, WhatsApp will make this feature available to beta testers on Android and iOS. Reports say that this feature has already been rolled out for users who installed WhatsApp Beta UWP 2.2216.4.0 version two weeks ago. For standard WhatsApp accounts, this feature is still under development.
On a related note, WhatsApp had authorized some important features. It has also rolled out the possibility of sending files up to 2GB at a time. These files will have end-to-end encryption. The previous setup only allowed users to transfer 100MB at a time, which was not enough. With the increased limit, transferring a lot of videos and files at once will no longer be a problem for the users.
