Volvo XC40 Recharge : Luxury car maker Volvo recently launched the company’s first electric car XC40 Recharge. The company has also started booking this car from July 27. If you want to buy this electric compact SUV, then you can book it from the company’s website for just Rs 50,000. The biggest feature of this car is its range of 418 km on full charge. Volvo XC40 Recharge Price:

The ex-showroom price of this car in India is Rs 55.90 lakh. In India, this car is already available in petrol engine model. The price of the electric variant of this car is Rs 11.40 lakh more than its petrol variant. This will be India’s first luxury EV to be assembled locally. The company is giving an eight-year warranty on its battery.

Powerful Battery:

Volvo has given a 78 kWh battery pack in this car, which can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 33 minutes with a 150kW DC fast charger. At the same time, this car can be fully charged in about 2.5 hours with a 50kW fast charger. This car is capable of giving a range of up to 418 km on a full charge. Its twin motor can generate power of 408hp and torque of up to 660Nm. The company claims that it can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds.

 

What does the car look like?

Talking about the looks of the car, the front has been done in a very simple and clean design with LED headlamps with DRLs like ‘Thor’. It is 15 mm longer than its petrol version of the car. It gets 19-inch alloy wheels, dual-tone blanked-out grille and 452-litres of boot space.

These facilities will be available

The car gets Android-based infotainment system with Level 2 driving sensor based ADAS technology, panoramic sunroof and wireless phone charging. With the help of the onboard e-SIM, Google Maps and Google Assistant and several apps can be accessed directly from the Google Play Store.
