New Delhi. BOB Financial Solutions Limited (BFSL), a subsidiary of Bank of Baroda, has launched a special type of credit card for its customers. This card issued in the name of Vikram Credit Card is for Indian Defense, Paramilitary and Police personnel. This is RuPay card and it was launched on 23rd January on the occasion of 74th Republic Day of the country. So let’s know about this credit card.

Lifetime Free Vikram Credit Card

Lifetime Free (LTF) will be offered on the Vikram Credit Card for employees engaged in the service of the nation. Apart from this other facilities are also provided like..

Reward points and free OTT platform subscription are available as a gift on activation of the card.

Accidental death cover of Rs 20 lakh is available on the credit card.

Apart from 1% fuel surcharge discount on fuel purchase with Vikram Credit Card, LTF add-on and EMI offers are also being offered.

As a new technology, ‘tap and pay’ facility can also be availed.

Reason behind the name Vikram

Talking about the reasons behind naming the credit card Vikram, the company’s MD & CEO Shailendra Singh said that Vikram means wise, brave, strong and victorious. Therefore, this card shows that you should manage your finances wisely. It also pays tribute to the defence, paramilitary and police forces. Shailendra says, “We dedicate the Vikram Credit Card to our brave warriors for their unique contribution in protecting us from uncertainties.”

 

This type of card has already been issued

For information, let us tell you that this is not the first time that BFSL has launched such a card for the security personnel of the country. Special co-branded credit cards have previously been issued for the Indian Army (Yoddha), Indian Navy (Varun), Indian Coast Guard (Rakshamah) and Assam Rifles (The Sentinel).
