Smartphone users beware! This is the trick that hackers use to steal your data

Mumbai: After malware, hackers are using yet another dangerous virus to steal data until the Pegasus case is completed. Hackers are now using different methods to access the data. After Pegasus, now spyware is being used for hacking. Shocking information has emerged that it is being used to extract secret information of senior officers. Hackers are using spyware to reach senior officials.

After Pegasus now comes the new Android spyware. Her name is being told as Hermit. It is being used to spy on senior officers. The list also includes big businessmen, human rights activists, journalists and government officials, the report said.

According to the researchers, the spyware was developed by RCS Lab, an Italian spyware retailer, and telecommunications solutions company TykeLab Srl.

The spyware was first discovered in Kazakhstan in April this year. This information came after the Kazakh government cracked down on people opposing government policies. Researchers at Lookout say the spyware was used in anti-corruption operations in the northeastern Kurdish region of Syria and Italy.

Hermit spyware is an Android spyware which can be easily sneaked into the system with the help of SMS. This SMS comes just like telecom companies. Many big phone companies also send such SMS. The message is actually sent by hackers. So by clicking on it, it is downloaded and from there people get caught and fall prey to hackers.
