Reliance Jio 5G: Reliance Jio, which has bid for all 22 telecom circles in the 5G spectrum auction, may launch its 5G mobile services on August 15, 2022. Reliance Jio is preparing to launch 5G mobile service first among all telecom companies to get 5G spectrum.

Reliance Infocomm Chairman Akash Ambani had said that the launch of 5G mobile services across India will mark the elixir of freedom. Reliance Jio will provide world class affordable 5G enabled services. It will work to accelerate the digital revolution in education, health, agriculture, manufacturing and e-governance sectors. Reliance Jio said in its statement that Jio will launch 5G mobile services in the shortest possible time.

The 5G spectrum auction ended on August 1. The central government has got revenue of about 1.5 lakh crore rupees from the auction of 5G spectrum. After the 40th round of auction of 5G spectrum, telecom companies Airtel and Jio are now going to roll out 5G network across the country. The auction was held for seven days.

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio will launch 5G networks across the country and Vodafone-Idea has been supported to bid in some circles. Adani Data will take further interest in 26 MHz spectrum to expand the network.

Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel is also set to launch 5G services in August 2022. For this, Airtel company has tied up with Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung today. Under this, the deployment of the equipment will be started this month. Airtel won the recently held 5G auction. Bharti Airtel had bought spectrum for Rs 43,084 crore. The Sunil Mittal-led company recently acquired 19,867.8 MHz of spectrum in the 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 3300 MHz and 26 GHz bands.
