Petrol and diesel prices stable, crude oil crosses $ 111 per barrel
New Delhi, May 14 (H.S.). In the midst of the Russia-Ukraine war, crude oil has again crossed $ 111 a barrel in the international market. However, the price of petrol and diesel in the domestic market has remained stable for more than a month. Public sector oil marketing companies have not changed the prices of both the fuels. Petrol in Delhi stood at Rs 105.41 per liter and diesel at Rs 96.67 per liter on Saturday.
According to the website of Indian Oil, the price of petrol in the country’s financial capital Mumbai is Rs 120.51 per liter and diesel is Rs 104.77 per liter. At the same time, the price of petrol in Kolkata is Rs 115.12 per liter, while the price of diesel is Rs 99.83 per liter. Similarly, petrol is getting Rs 110.85 per liter in Chennai and Rs 100.94 per liter of diesel.
It is noteworthy that in the midst of the Russia-Ukraine war, the fluctuating price of crude oil in the international market continues. On the last trading day of the week, Brent crude closed at $ 111.56 per barrel, while WTI crude is trading at $110.46 per dollar.
