Inflation is another problem for the people of Trahima, the price of the most important kitchen items will increase.
The price of every item is increasing day by day. With the increase in the price of petrol and diesel, everything necessary for life has become expensive. Food items including milk, pulses, cereals, oil, black pepper spices have become expensive. Now even salt is starting to look bad. Because the price of salt is expected to increase in the coming days.
Indeed, late production in Gujarat can affect salt production, so if salt production declines, salt prices may rise. Experts say that if the monsoon starts before mid-June, there will be a cut in production.
The production of salt in Gujarat usually starts from March. But this time production started in mid-April in coastal areas where monsoon is longer. Now talking about salt production, India produces an average of 30 million tonnes of salt every year.
India ranks third in the world in salt production after the US and China. The country exports to 55 countries of the world. Gujarat accounts for 90% of the total salt production of the country.
