Hero Xoom: Hero MotoCorp brings new scooter, may be launched on January 30
Hero Xoom: Hero MotoCorp is soon going to launch a new scooter in the Indian market. Recently the company has released its teaser. Hero’s new scooter will be named Hero Zoom. A report suggests that the scooter will be launched with a 110 cc engine and will compete with the Honda Dio. Hero can launch this scooter on 30 January.
The teaser of Hero Xoom has revealed many details about the design of the scooter. The company has given a sporty front fender in this scooter. The headlight in the scooter is mounted on the fender itself. This could be in the headlight unit LED. This scooter can also be offered with LED tail light unit. The handlebar of the scooter has turn indicators, which are in halogen.
According to reports, the company can offer i3S start/stop technology in this scooter. This saves fuel. Hero Xoom will also get a fully digital instrument cluster and X-TEC connected feature. It could also offer features like call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. It is being said that it will not get external fuel cap like other scooters.
Hero Xoom: In get powerful engine
The company can give a 110cc engine in this scooter. Which is being used in Pleasure Plus and Maestro Edge 110. This engine generates power of 8 bhp and torque of 8.7 Nm. Telescopic fork suspension will be given at the front of the scooter.
The top variant of Hero Xoom can be offered with alloy wheels and disc brakes. While drum brakes and steel wheels will be given in the lower variants. This scooter can be offered with 12 inch alloy wheels. Hero Xoom can compete with Honda’s sporty scooter Honda Dio, which is very popular among young customers.
Activa H-Smart Launch
Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda has launched the H-Smart variant of Activa. The company has kept the initial ex-showroom price of this scooter at Rs 74,536. The scooter is an updated model of the company’s existing Activa 6G with H-Smart technology. In Activa H-Smart, the company has used many new technologies. It is powered by a 110cc PGM-FI engine. Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology has also been added to this engine with OBD2. Along with this, it also includes updated programmed fuel injection, new smart tumble technology, ACG starter and friction reduction technology.
