Changes in the rules for opening demat accounts. Accordingly, if you are a demat account holder, you will have to undergo KYC by June 30, 2022. Demat account will be deactivated if KYC is not done. Due to which trading in your stock market will stop.

After verification the process will be completed.
When a person buys shares of a company, these shares cannot be transferred to the account. The KYC process will be completed and only after verification they will be able to continue their work. According to the new rule, it is necessary to have 6 details KYC of demat account name, address, pen, mobile number, email id, income limit.

The stock brokers are advising their clients to get KYC done by the demat trading account holders so that your demat account is not deactivated. Many brokerage houses are offering online KYC facility to the clients. You can also update KYC by visiting the office of the brokerage house.
