Cottonseed oil prices rebound in Saurashtra
Mumbai : The prices of various imported edible oils in the Mumbai oilseed market today registered a rise as compared to the global market. Among domestic edible oils, cottonseed oil prices recovered behind Saurashtra while Singoil remained calm.
About 300 to 400 tonnes of imported palm oil under various deliveries was trading at Rs 960 to Rs 965 per 10 kg. Refineries increased the price to Rs 968 late in the evening.
Today, the futures price of Malaysian palm oil rose by 100 points in the world market. America Soytel’s price was higher by five points in today’s launch after increasing 84 points overnight. Meanwhile, the washed cotton price in Saurashtra increased to Rs.1245 from today’s Rs.1240. However, Saurashtra single oil prices today remained calm at Rs 1500 and Rs 2400 per 15 kg.
The price of cottonseed oil increased to Rs 1310 in the spot market of Mumbai. While the prices of Singoil calmed down at Rs.1530. The price of mustard was Rs 1420 and the price of refined was Rs 1450. Crude palm oil at CPO Kandla was trading at Rs.885 against Rs.875.
Meanwhile, soyabean oil degum fell to Rs 1,310 and refined to Rs 1,325 in the spot market in Mumbai. The price of refined sunflower increased to Rs.1325. The price of refined sunflower stood at Rs.1460.
Castor seed was trading at Rs 20 to 25 per kg in the futures market today. Castor seed prices declined by Rs 25 in Mumbai, while Diwali prices softened by Rs 5 per 10 kg.
Today, the price of one ton Singkhol fell by Rs 1000 in Mumbai’s shell market. When the price of sunflower seed was increased by Rs. Soybean prices remained soft by Rs.500. The price of castor has declined by Rs.400. Other laps were quiet.
Global markets were hit hard today on rumors that Indonesia would cut the ratio of local supply to exports in palm oil from nine to five to one. The income of soyabean at home was 1 lakh 50 thousand times in Madhya Pradesh and 2 lakh 10 thousand times in Maharashtra.
In Madhya Pradesh the price was Rs 5350 to 5500. Today, the income of mustard in Rajasthan was 1 lakh 15 thousand times and the all India income was 2 lakh 75 thousand times. In Rajasthan the prices ranged from Rs 6950 to Rs 6975. In the overnight trading in the US, there was news of a fall in soybean and soybean prices.
