News of a frightening accident is coming from Bhimtal area of Nainital district of Uttarakhand. A roadways bus full of passengers has fallen into a deep gorge in Bhimtal. Many people are reported to be injured in this accident. The administration has started a rescue operation. Nainital SSP Prahlad Meena has said that many people have been injured due to the roadways bus falling into the gorge in Bhimtal. Rescue teams are being sent to the spot.
How many passengers were there in the bus?
According to the information given by the state SDRF, a bus full of passengers fell into a 100 meter deep gorge near Bhimtal in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. According to the information, the bus was going from Bhimtal to Haldwani and 20 to 25 people were travelling in it. As soon as information about the incident was received, two SDRF teams from Nainital and Khairna have been sent to the spot. More information about the accident is awaited.
CM Dhami took cognizance of the incident
State Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has also taken cognizance of the bus accident in Bhimtal. He wrote on X- “The news of the bus accident near Bhimtal is very sad. The local administration has been directed for immediate relief and rescue work. I pray to Baba Kedar for the safety of all the passengers.”
