There has been a big uproar in the Parliament premises during the winter session of Parliament. BJP has accused Rahul Gandhi of pushing two MPs and injuring them. BJP has also lodged a complaint about this incident in the Parliament police station. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called BJP MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput and inquired about their health after they got injured in Parliament today.

What did the injured MP say?

BJP MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi said, “Rahul Gandhi pushed an MP who fell on me after which I fell down. I was standing near the stairs when Rahul Gandhi came and pushed an MP who fell on me.” RML Hospital official Sanjay Shukla said, “Two MPs came to us. Both had head injuries and their blood pressure was high. Pratap Sarangi is old. This injury is not good for him at this age.”

I condemn hooliganism- Shivraj

BJP MP Shivraj Singh Chauhan also met the injured MPs in the hospital. He said, “…my heart is filled with pain after seeing Pratap Chandra Sarangi ji. This is a black day in the history of Parliament. The decorum has been violated. There is no other example of the hooliganism that Rahul Gandhi and Congress have done…now they will do such hooliganism…such conduct has never been seen in the cultural history of India…they should be given training in a school on how to behave in a democracy…we condemn this hooliganism.”

Parliament is not a platform to show physical strength- Rijiju

In Rajya Sabha, Union Minister J.P. Nadda said, “I want to present a resolution condemning the act committed by the Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi today. Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal said, “Two of our MPs have been seriously injured. 4-5 MPs have come and lodged a complaint. Today, BJP-NDA MPs protested for the first time at Makar Dwar. They (opposition) thought that this is their property… they came tearing through the crowd. The Leader of Opposition should understand his responsibility.” Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “Today, a protest of BJP-NDA MPs was going on at the main gate of Parliament… The physical demonstration done by Rahul Gandhi and his MPs by forcefully entering is very wrong. Parliament is not a platform to show physical strength.
