Ukraine took responsibility for the murder of Russia’s nuclear chief, scientist’s assistant also died in the bomb blast

Moscow: Ukraine has taken responsibility for killing Russia’s nuclear chief and his assistant in a bomb blast. Let us tell you that Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, the head of Russia’s scientific nuclear, biological and chemical defense forces, was killed in a bomb blast near a residential apartment block here on Tuesday morning. His assistant was also killed during this. It is being told that the explosives were hidden in a scooter. Russia’s nuclear chief died after coming under its grip. Russia’s Investigative Committee gave this information.

On the other hand, after the killing of Russia’s nuclear chief, there is panic in President Putin’s office, the Kremlin. Meanwhile, Ukraine has accepted responsibility for the killing of the Russian nuclear chief. A Ukrainian army official said that the service carried out this attack. Igor Kirillov died after being hit by an explosive while leaving his office. Kirillov (54) was banned by many countries, including Britain and Canada, for his actions in Moscow’s war in Ukraine. On Monday, Ukraine’s Security Service or SBU launched a criminal investigation against him, accusing him of directing the use of banned chemical weapons.

An SBU official said the agency was behind the attack. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Kirillov is a war criminal and targeting him was completely legitimate. The SBU has said it has used chemical weapons on the battlefield on more than 4,800 occasions as of February 2022. In May, the US State Department said in a statement that it had used ‘chloropicrin’, a poisonous gas first used in World War I, against Ukrainian troops. Russia has denied using any chemical weapons in Ukraine and accused Kiev of using toxic substances in the war.
