A sensational case has come to light in Uttar Pradesh’s Farrukhabad district, where a robber bride made the family drink intoxicating tea on the wedding night and fled with cash, jewelry and mobile phones worth lakhs of rupees. When the groom’s sister-in-law woke up at around 3 am in the morning, the bride, her mother and aunt were missing from the house. After this, when they woke up the family, the groom and his mother were lying unconscious. The groom and his mother were admitted to the Community Health Center Shamshabad.

The family members told in the case that the robber bride has absconded with cash, jewellery and mobile worth lakhs of rupees. The name of the bride is Pooja. The robber bride is said to be from Hardoi’s Harpalpur area. Majhiya Sukhdev is said to be a relative of the groom, he had also disappeared. But at around 11:00 am, people found her at the Ganga Ghat under the Dhai Ghat bridge and handed her over to the police. After this, the police is engaged in searching for the robber bride.

Made everyone drink intoxicating tea

Late in the evening, the groom Sandesh Kumar Yadav arrived with the wedding procession at the Premvaatika Guest House in Tarai Mohalla and the marriage rituals were performed. Sandesh Kumar Yadav is a resident of Akbarpur Damodar. After this, the bride reached home at 12 in the night and when it was about making tea, she came forward and said she would make the tea and bring it. After this, the same tea was served to many people. However, the groom and his mother and many other people drank the tea made by the bride. While many people did not drink it saying it was bitter tea, after which all the family members went to sleep.

At around 3 am, the groom’s sister-in-law Lalita woke up. In the morning, the bride and her aunt were found missing. The bride and her aunt were sleeping in one room. The groom was in another room, the bride’s mother was sleeping separately. The groom’s side said that before the marriage, Rs 2.50 lakh was given to Manjiya Sukhdev. Apart from this, the bride absconded with her aunt and her mother, taking cash, jewellery and mobile worth lakhs of rupees. The groom and the groom’s mother have been admitted to the Community Health Center Shamshabad in an unconscious state where they are undergoing treatment.
