FIRs will also be registered against people giving alms in Indore city from January 1. Indore District Magistrate Ashish Singh said, “Our awareness campaign against begging will continue in the city till the end of this month (December). From January 1, if any person is found giving alms, an FIR will be registered against him.”

Do not become a partner in sin by giving alms – District Magistrate

Indore’s District Magistrate Ashish Singh has said that the administration has already issued an order banning begging in the city. Pilot project of Central Government
