Noida: Encounter between police and criminals, 2 gangsters with a bounty of 25 thousand each arrested, 80 cases against one and 60 cases against the other

What is the whole matter?

There was an encounter between the police and the criminals near Cherry County in Bisrakh police station area in Noida. In this encounter, the wanted criminals Harpreet alias Jassi and Harpreet Singh alias Honey were injured. Both of them have been arrested. Many cases are registered against both of them and they were also wanted. 

Actually this encounter took place during checking by Thana Bisrakh Police. Both the miscreants were going on a motorcycle but when the police tried to stop them, they opened fire on the police. In retaliation, both the miscreants were injured and the police arrested them.

DCP Central Noida Shakti Mohan Singh said that Harpreet alias Preet alias Jassi has a long list of crimes, which include theft, robbery, attempt to murder and cases under the Gangster Act. Police were looking for him in many cases in North West Delhi and NCR area. A case is registered under the Gangster Act in Bisrakh police station area.

Harpreet Singh alias Honey is involved in many serious crimes in North West Delhi and NCR region. He was also wanted in cases of NDPS Act and Arms Act. A case is registered under Gangster Act in Bisrakh police station area. 

According to the DCP, a reward of Rs 25,000 was declared on both the criminals. Two pistols, live and empty cartridges and a stolen motorcycle have been recovered from their possession. Both have been sent to the hospital for treatment. More than 70 cases of robbery, theft, attempt to murder and other serious crimes including Gangster Act are registered against the criminals. The police is now investigating the matter further.
