New Delhi: Ajit Pawar along with his family and senior party leaders reached Sharad Pawar’s residence in Delhi to wish him on his birthday. Ajit Pawar’s statement has come out after this meeting.
What was discussed with Sharad Pawar?
Ajit Pawar said- ‘Pawar sahab’s birthday is on December 12, so we always meet him, according to that today we went to wish him. During this, general issues were discussed’. When Ajit Pawar was asked whether uncle-nephew are coming together again? Avoiding this question, Ajit Pawar did not say anything and moved ahead.
What did you talk to Amit Shah about?
Ajit Pawar also mentioned his meeting with Amit Shah last night and said that he has talked about the problems of sugarcane farmers. Amit Shah has assured him that he will try to solve these problems soon. On the question related to Maharashtra cabinet expansion, he said that he has talked to Devendra Fadnavis. The cabinet will be expanded on December 14.
Distances increased after the split in NCP
Earlier, the whole family had gathered in Pune to celebrate ‘Bhau Beej’ but Ajit Pawar was absent on this occasion. This was also being considered a sign of increasing distance in the family. Actually, Ajit Pawar had broken away from Sharad Pawar’s NCP party and joined the ruling Mahayuti alliance in Maharashtra. Since then, the distance in the family was increasing. Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar were not seen together even on important occasions of family functions.
