Begusarai: A case that exposes the liquor ban has come to light from Begusarai in Bihar. Two people have died after consuming suspected poisonous liquor. The incident took place in Mehda Shahpur village of Cheria Bariyarpur police station area. The deceased were aged 50 and 60 years.
What is the whole matter?
Hareram Tanti (50) and Chunchun Prasad Singh (60) died after consuming suspected poisonous liquor in Mehda Shahpur village of Cheria Bariarpur police station area of Begusarai, Bihar. However, the district police have not immediately confirmed whether they died due to consumption of poisonous liquor or due to some other reason. At present, it is being said that the cause of death is poisonous liquor.
The district police said that Tanti’s family said that he was taken to a private hospital due to difficulty in breathing, where he died on Wednesday. Regarding the death of Chunchun Prasad Singh, it was said that the cause of death was ill health due to cold. He died during treatment.
Tanti’s body has been sent for postmortem, while Singh’s family has refused to get the postmortem done. Regarding Tanti, it has been said that the cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report comes.
Both were addicted to alcohol.
However, a group of villagers, on the condition of anonymity, said that both were addicts of alcohol and had consumed alcohol a day before the incident.
