Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Prayagraj on Saturday, 6 days before the proposed program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During this, Chief Minister Yogi also did a field inspection of the beautification and other projects going on in view of the divine, grand, and digital Maha Kumbh-2025, which is to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Modi. He expressed satisfaction over the completed projects and directed the officials to complete the remaining projects in a quality manner by December 10 at any cost.

Chief Minister Yogi reached Arail Bandha Road directly from the Circuit House, where he expressed satisfaction over the completion of road widening and beautification work. He said that ‘Smart Prayagraj’ is ready to welcome pilgrims and tourists coming to Maha Kumbh, the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Chief Minister Yogi directed to decorate Maha Kumbh Nagar and Prayagraj with their ancient glory given the proposed visit of the Prime Minister on 13 December.

From there, Chief Minister Yogi inspected Triveni Pushp. During this, he saw the yoga and cultural center built in Triveni Pushp. The officials informed Chief Minister Yogi about the quality of the work of rejuvenation of Triveni Pushp, on which he instructed the officials not to compromise with the quality of the work. He said that Maha Kumbh 2025 is an opportunity not only for Prayag but for the entire Uttar Pradesh to present India’s ancient spiritual tradition on the global stage.

After this, the Chief Minister reached the Faecal Sludge Treatment Plant at Naini, where he inspected the ongoing tapping work of the plant. He said that special care should be taken to ensure that no drainage and sewer falls into Ganga and Yamuna. All drains should be tapped on time. The double-engineer government of Uttar Pradesh is committed to ensuring that the pilgrims coming to Maha Kumbh can take a bath and sip water at the confluence of the uninterrupted and clean Ganga, Yamu, and the invisible Saraswati.

After inspecting the treatment plant, Chief Minister Yogi inspected Shivalaya Park. All the ancient Shiva temples of India have been depicted in this park built in an area of 40 thousand square meters. After the inspection, Chief Minister Yogi instructed the officials and said that the spiritual tradition of Sanatan culture has been depicted in this park, and this park will become a center of attraction for devotees coming from all corners of the world in Maha Kumbh. Given this, special attention should be paid to its cleanliness and beautification. Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’, Water Power Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Mayor of Prayagraj, Mela Adhikari Vijay Kiran Anand, and police officers were present with the Chief Minister in the program.
