‘Not even a single rioter involved in Sambhal violence should be spared’, CM Yogi gave strict instructions

Lucknow: CM Yogi has taken a tough stand on the violence that took place during the survey of the mosque in Sambhal and has instructed the officials that not even a single miscreant should be spared. The cost of repairing the damaged public property should be recovered from the same miscreants. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave this instruction in a high-level meeting with senior officials on Wednesday.

No one can be allowed to spread anarchy.

While reviewing the law and order situation, the Chief Minister said that whether it is Gautam Buddha Nagar, Aligarh Sambhal, or any other district, no one can be allowed to spread anarchy. He said that those who spread anarchy should be identified their posters should be put up and not even a single miscreant should be spared. 

 

 

After CM Yogi’s strictness, the administration has intensified the action. So far, 34 accused of Sambhal violence have been arrested, while 400 miscreants have been identified, and police raids are going on to arrest them. Now after CM Yogi’s order, the action in Sambhal is likely to be intensified. 

Strict instructions on the issue of encroachment

On the issue of encroachment on public places, Yogi Adityanath said that everyone should understand that the road is for everyone. Public places will not be allowed to be used for storing construction materials, parking private vehicles, building shops, etc.

Regarding revenue disputes in the districts, the Chief Minister directed to seek clarification from all the departments, divisional commissioners, district magistrates, tehsils, ranges, an police stations that have shown unsatisfactory performance based on the cases coming in Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas and Thana Diwas and the response received from the public on ‘IGRS’ and ‘CM Helpline’. Yogi Adityanath said that injustice will not be allowed to happen to any poor. The officers of the departments related to the public must meet the public at a fixed time and public hearings should be given priority in every department.

All divisional commissioners, police zone ADG, District Magistrate, Police Range IGand, and Sand superintendent of Police attended the meeting through video conference. Regarding the Mahaparinirvan Diwas of Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar on December 6, the Chief Minister said that many organizations will organize processions/meetings, etc. to express gratitude towards Baba Saheb. He said that some anarchist elements may make a malicious attempt to spoil the atmosphere. Therefore, the officers should ensure that no untoward incident takes place anywhere.
