Guinea Football Match Clash: There has been fierce violence during a football match in the western African country of Guinea. Fans clashed here, killing more than 100 people. Local hospital sources told AFP about the incident that dozens of people were killed in a clash between fans during a football match in Guinea’s second-largest city N’Jerekor on Sunday. A doctor said on condition of anonymity, “There is a line of bodies as far as the eye can see in the hospital. Many bodies are lying on the floor in the corridors, the morgue is full.”

Many videos of this violence are going viral on social media. The authenticity of these videos could not be confirmed. The video shows chaos on the road outside the match. According to eyewitnesses, angry protesters also vandalized and set fire to the N’Jerekore police station.
The violence started because of this.
An eyewitness said, “The violence started after the match referee gave a controversial decision. After this the fans got angry and then there was heavy violence.” According to local media, this match was part of a tournament organized in honor of Guinea’s junta leader Mamadi Doumbouya.
