ATF Price Hike Today: Airlines have suffered a setback on the very first day of the month. Government oil companies have increased the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) from today i.e. 1 December. Due to this, airlines can also increase airfares, which will have a direct impact on passengers. Oil companies have increased the price of ATF by ₹ 13,181.2 per kilolitre from 1 December. Due to this, the price of Aviation Turbine Fuel in Delhi has become ₹ 91,856.84 per kilolitre. Apart from this, ATF is available in Kolkata at ₹ 94,551.63 per kilolitre, in Mumbai at ₹ 85,861.02 per kilolitre and in Chennai at ₹ 95,231.49 per kilolitre.
Flight tickets can be expensive
.December is the second consecutive month when government oil companies have increased the prices of aviation turbine fuel. Last month also, the price of ATF was increased by ₹ 2,941.5 per kilolitre. Due to this, the operating expenses of airlines are increasing rapidly. Experts believe that due to the cost of ATF, airlines can increase air prices by 10 to 15 percent. In such a situation, passengers will have to buy tickets at a higher price. The prices of ATF are increasing due to the fall in the value of the rupee against the dollar. Let us tell you that the cost of aviation fuel is about 40 percent of the total expenses of airlines.

There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel even today. In the national capital Delhi, petrol is being sold at Rs 94.77 per liter today. Apart from this, petrol is being sold at Rs 105.58 per liter in Patna and Rs 94.30 per liter in Chandigarh. Talking about diesel, it is available in Delhi at Rs 87.67 per liter. Apart from this, diesel is available at Rs 92.42 per liter in Patna and Rs 82.45 per liter in Chandigarh.
