Maha Kumbh 2025: Next year, Maha Kumbh Mela is going to be organized on the banks of Sangam in Prayagraj (Allahabad), UP. Maha Kumbh is starting with the first bath on 13 January 2025. During Maha Kumbh, lakhs of devotees will come to Prayagraj. In such a situation, the government has made large-scale preparations so that they do not face any problems in communication. The Department of Telecommunications has installed hundreds of mobile towers around the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.

Due to the arrival of lakhs of devotees, there may be a problem of network congestion, due to which additional mobile towers have been installed. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) shared a video from its official X handle and said that 333 new mobile towers have been deployed for the Maha Kumbh. More than 70 portable mobile towers will be installed now. Due to the installation of more than 400 new mobile towers, users will not face problems in calling and using data.

There is going to be a lot of crowd in Prayagraj during the Maha Kumbh. In such a situation, these temporary mobile towers have been installed to stay connected with the family members. The telecommunication department has installed mobile towers around the Sangam coast. Lakhs of devotees will reach the Sangam coast during the Maha Kumbh, due to which there is a possibility of network congestion problem. These mobile towers will relieve the users from call drops

Intra circle roaming.

During Maha Kumbh, telecom operators Airtel, BSNL, Jio, and Vodafone Idea can activate intracircle roaming, due to which if a user has an Airtel number, he will also be able to make calls using Jio or Vodafone-Idea network. However, telecom operators have not announced it yet. During the recent cyclone in Odisha, telecom operators started this facility, so that people do not have problems in talking to their family members during times of disaster.
